Bought these for my husband’s birthday. They are a perfect waterproof boot between his MOAB ventilated hiking shoe, and his heavy winter snow boot. We walk 3-5 miles on trails every day, and he loves them. I love the look too.

I have 12W feet. Hard to find shoes my size. Thankfully Merrill gets it. I walk 2 miles a day and live these boots. I walk in the rain too and these boots are definitely waterproof. Keep em coming !

Over all good but size runs big

I bought both the boot and lace version of the shoe, both waterproof. They are comfortable enough BUT, I went out recently to shovel snow (3 inches) from the driveway and by the time I was done the front of my feet (both of them), were wet. The shoes ended up discolored in the area that were wet. I came in and decided to try a few drops of water on the shoes and much to my surprise and disappointment, the water had essentially soaked into the fabric. Had I known that the shoes were not actually waterproof, I would have spent less, got the lighter color and understood that I walked in water at my own risk. It is disappointing that Merrell continues to advertise the shoes as waterproof when there seems to be more than a reasonable amount of anecdotal reviews on this site alone to call that claim into question.

Over all is a good shoe, but the insole is too thin, so when you are standing all day, it's not that comfortable, this is my second pair, and in both I added a thicker Avia insole and made it much better, Merrell should invest in better insole to give it mor cushion and support for longer use

I recently received these boots for Christmas and was disappointed the first and only time I wore them. I happen to wear them when it was raining and to my surprise water went in them instantly soaking my socks. This is my 2nd pair of Merrell Moab Adventure Mid Waterproof boots I’ve owned. The first pair leaked after a couple of years of wearing them (Understandable). They were leather all around including the tongue. Now the new version which I am reviewing now are also leather except for the tongue it is mesh but yet Merrell claims these boots to be waterproof (Nope). The only plus on these boots is they are comfortable and look nice but if you are looking for a waterproof hiking boot then these are not going to help.

Love them, good tread, comfortable and sturdy. Will definitely get these again.

This shoe is high quality. Lightweight, durable & comfortable. I work outside & wear them everyday. Will definitely buy again.

I just bought these boots for a trip to Iceland. I wanted something waterproof, warm, comfortable (without braking in time), and rugged. They succeeded in all my criteria. I took them hiking, horse riding, and walking for hours through city streets.

Took these bad boys through a few hard trails in northern GA. I wore good socks and legging and had no issues with 40°F. My only complaint might be a surprising one, slippery when wet. Thats right watch your step on wet clay mud or rocks.
