Falling apart after 6 months :(

I received these boots from Merrell as a warranty replacement of another pair of Merrell that were defective. Stitching is falling apart, toe protector is peeing off of the boot. This type of wear used to show up in a pair of Merrell boots after 18 months, not 6 months. I'm sorry to say but your products have declined in quality. I'm gonna have to switch brands, I'm done.

great boot

I really like this boot thus far. It is comfortable and no breakin time was needed. I got the wide width and it is much wider than I expected. Maybe should have gotten the standard width.

Boots are great right out of the box. They fit great. No problems at all. I even bought another pair in a different color.

These boots provide a lot of support and are throughly waterproof. The fit my wide foot very well, and required very little break-in.

Great Work boot!

I do lawn maintenance for a living. I have worn this boot, or a version of it, for several years. Boot is waterproof to keep you covered for rain/dew. Weight of this shoe is perfect for working in/walking in all day. Highly recommend this boot for the folks who work outside.

The boot was wider than expected, not larger. I usually need a wide width shoe, but not in this boot. I had to return and purchase a medium width. They fit great and felt broken in the first time worn.

Would not exchange

Tried on the boot. Left felt good. Right boot had something off in it, causing stretching of my arch. I called and tried to exchange the boots but was told only a refund was available. I am disappointed as I was looking for a waterproof hiker for the spring melt.

far exceeded my expectations

i have a big toe that has been broken 3 times (i know, i know)... needless to...i say the break in period on new boots is usually a tooth gritting experience! not with these boots. wore the things right out of the store and walked in them all day. zero toe discomfort. zero "break in"... im actually a little in disbelief as this has been a lifelong issue...and i never write reviews btw and i wasn't asked to write this one... just had to...

These boots are comfortable, fit well, offer warmth and waterproofing in snow and freezing weather, provide good support and footing, have durable but pliant leather and strong laces.
