I love these Sorel Cate the Great Boots. They keep my feet warm and dry for snow shoveling and they are so cute everytime I wear them I receive so many compliments. I love the look of them and they can be worn with anything. They are a little wide in the heel but not uncomfortably so. Well worth the money.

When I first found these boots, I noticed it had pretty much unanimously received 5-star ratings from its numerous reviews around the web, and after reading through most of them, I was happy with what I saw. They had good arch support, they were warm, they were cute, and they were water proof-- pretty much everything I needed. I have somewhat wide feet and large calves, so I have always, always had problems with boots that come up too far on the calf, but having worn the boots, I am happy to say that they come up to a perfect, non-discriminatory height. I had no trouble with the laces, and the boot feels nice and snug on my foot, almost like it was molded just for me. Enough room can be made for me to wear bulky socks or tuck my pants in if I want to. The bottom of the boot has especially deep tread that really helps keep traction on wet, slippery and snowy terrain. On top of all this, the boots keep my feet warm, dry, and happy, which makes for a happy me.

Loved the look of this boot, and ordered it twice since first pair had defective insole in one boot and couldn't try on. When I got the 2nd pair, I found my 3rd toe (which is rather long) just wasn't quite comfortable enough, even though I really wanted them to work. The boot was just too stiff and heavy for me as well, and hit my shin when I walked, so returned them for Uggs which are soft inside and fit beautifully.

Not only do these boots LOOK fantastic, they are super comfortable and great for cold, snowy weather. I live in the Pacific NW, we don't usually get a whole lot of snow, but I just had to have these boots. Glad I did too, because two weeks later it dumped snow and ice on us, and wearing these boots I had no worries about my feet or pants getting wet. Get these boots, you won't regret it. Size down. I usually wear a 7.5 to 8, bought a 7 in these boots based on previous reviews and they fit perfectly.

These are FABULOUS! I just moved from Los Angeles to the Midwest & I was terrified about the severe winter weather, but these make it much easier on me since I can look forward to wearing them on bad weather days! They look SO stylish, I get tons of compliments on them. For me warmth and wetness protection were crucial, and these do not disappoint! They are waterproof & keep my toes warm even in the snow. The fit is true to size. I usually wear a 9/9.5 but got a 10 to accommodate for layered wool socks. LOVE THEM!
