Loved the look and feel of the shoe, but it was too small. There was not enough flexibility in the strap and felt like my foot was being squeezed. It would be great for someone with no foot problems, but not for anyone with issues with their feet.
I absolutely love this boot. I got a whole size bigger because I felt that a half size would have had to be returned, so I took a risk and it paid off. I only wished I ordered them sooner, when winter first started. This boot is comfortable. Stylish without being just a weather boot. Looks great and feels fabulous on my feet. I don't have to wear a lot of socks to keep my feet warm. Just one pair of thick socks will suffice. I highly recommend getting a pair, if any are left.
I live in uganda and walking the roads in a heel or dressy sandal is near impossible. You need a little cushion. I bought these because they dont look like hiking sandals but they do the job of trekking down dusty bumpy roads well. They dont have the upper support you'd need for a good hike. But because they offer a cute style and are an upgrade to my flimsy flops they do exactly what i want.
I have had other pairs of Chacos, but recently had been experiencing some pressure on my lateral foot, and also thought they were heavy for traveling light. These are a third of the weight, and fit much better. I like have my big toe secured for better gait, and it does not rub on my outside bunion! Highly recommend these!
Chaco was launched in 1989 by Mark Paigen. Paigen, a fly fishing and whitewater rafting guide on the Colorado River, began making sport sandals for his fellow guides. Eventually, he started making the unique sandals for clients, and the demand for Chacos continued to grow. In 2008, Chaco was acquired by Wolverine World Wide, Inc.
Chaco sandals incorporate a pull-through strap system that is micro-adjustable for the perfect fit and designed to help keep the foot in place during wear.
All Chaco sandals have BioCentric™ footbeds, which are approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). These footbeds control pronation, maximize performance and ensure a comfortable, supported stride in any activity.
Today, Chaco shoes (affectionately called "Chacos" by those who wear and love them) continue to heed the call of river guides, climbers and hikers with Chaco multi-sport shoes, sandals and flips. Explore the complete collection of styles, including women's Chaco and men's Chaco.
