Men's Red Wing Heritage

I just received it and haven't wear it so much because of the harsh weather outside (snow, heavy rain, etc.) but so far this is a great chukka. Love the style, it needs breaking thru for the first few uses but it'll shape to your foot accordingly.

Bought this shoe in my size since I heard you need to use an insole. After putting a light insole in the shoe, it fits too tight for me. Without an added insole this boot is VERY uncomfortable. After a full day of wearing this boot in a casual environment, my feet feel terrible. Taking them off gives a sigh of relief. If I bought this boot again, I'd purchase a half size BIGGER and wider and add a serious cushion to these babies.

I live on the Outer banks of N.C....Hunt, fish, construction, landscaping, backhoe operator, etc. All this in sand, mud, marsh, water, ... you name it, These boots handle it. There is a break in period as the leather is thick and stiff. I would get a blister on one heel no matter how thick the sock was. But, If I wore it without socks, no blister! Go Figure. Now that they are broke in, Socks or no socks they are comfortable and the leather must breath well because my feet don't sweat. I did order a half size smaller than my normal and they feel fine, thus the "feels half size too big" on the form.

I love these. I am in construction but need to be dressed nice. They look great with jeans and I can go from work to going out for the evening without even changing. They are very comfortable and stylish. I have even gotten compliments from other guys. I would get a second pair in an instant. Plus they aree real boots, mad in the USA. When was the last time you saw that?

These are definitely high-quality well-made shoes. They were a bit uncomfortable at first because I'm used to a more structured foot bad and arch support but I'm getting used to them and starting to love them more and more each day!

I bought the EE width since my feet are slightly wider than most. I wish they had an E option. These are sharp looking boots perfect for date night, running errands, and casual work environments. The negative is that the soles are not comfortable. I put some arch support insoles in, but I'll need something more cushioned since the ball of my foot is feeling the pain. Well constructed. Typical high Red Wing quality.

I ordered these boots to wear with jeans, khakis, and cords. The quality of the materials and workmanship hark back to the days when people took pride in what they produced. There is nothing else quite like these boots available today and I frequently receive complements on them. The black cherry leather is rich and deep in color. Shoes Online has the best pricing on these beautiful Redwings. The boots are true to size. The overall fit depends on your choice of socks and whether you choose to install an additional footbed. I usually wear a 12.5 (at least in New Balance who makes larger half-sizes) and the size-12 boots fit fine. I have room for either medium weight socks or innersoles.The boots require a fairly lengthy break-in period, so don't plan to wear them out of the box for an extended period, at least at first. The leather inner soles of the boots are not removable and do not provide much arch support. As-is they are comfortable for a few hours of wear, but I plan to purchase Superfeet innersoles to achieve all-day comfort.Bottom Line: If I could only keep one pair of shoes from my wardrobe, these are the ones I'd choose. They are a lifetime investment that will pay dividends for years to come.

First off, buy a half size smaller. These shoes rock. The color is unique, boots are well made and made in the USA, they fit well and are extremely comfortable. I purchased a Dr. Scholls insole for 5 bucks...it gives a little more cushioning for your feet. You can dress these shoes up or down. I purchased a pair of Iron Rangers too...I like the fit and feel of the Rangers better...still have to buy a half size down though. All in all I would highly recommend these shoes for the reasons above. I have quickly became a Red Wing shoe fan.
