Great looking boot and the dark brown is a beautiful color. With that said, the fit is quite large so I wound up with an 8 boot while I normally take an 8 1/2 or 9 for thicker socks. Even the 8 feels a bit too roomy, but a 7 1/2 would never have the room for thicker winter socks. If the fit had been true to size, making the buying process easier, I would have rated them a 5. They are comfortable, but I wouldn't want to walk all day in them because of the sloppy fit. My advice.. buy 2 -3 pairs in smaller sizes and pick the best one. Online Shoes was great with having the sizes in stock.
