Just Right!
Neima Review:
Bought to wear to a wedding. I like that the gold is kind of muted. It makes it more of a neutral color that I will be able to wear again in less dressy situations.
wonderful shoe, comfortable,

this shoe looks good with dress slacks and jeans and a dress too!
TOO BAD
Neima Review:
I was not able to assess the fit of this Softspots Neima because of heel slippage; the shoe seemed a little long -- can't say for sure a half size too long, just long. There was about a third of an inch of insole showing behind the heel, so I saw no point in simply snugging in the heel strap to make it fit better. Sure wish I could have tried on an 8 (I had ordered 8.5M) at a local Softspots vendor, but surprisingly there are none in my city! The construction, materials, width, everything was excellent. I am surprised how little I am able to keep shoes ordered through the mail, even though I have ZERO foot "issues": no bunions, corns, or fallen arches, etc. I'm coming to the end of ordering shoes through the mail -- unless I've been able to try them on in a store, but then again ordering online to get the color I want doesn't even make sense because THAT SPECIFIC SHOE might, and often does, have issues. Bummed out as I have spent a small FORTUNE on return mail -- returned three shoes just yesterday and this has been going on for over a decade now.
Not ideal for my foot, but close
Neima Review:
I wear a 8.5B. The shoe is beautifully made and the leather, heel, and construction are high quality, and the leather gives the impression that it wouldn't stretch out unduly over time. I can't comment on the comfort in walking because this shoe felt a little large, with a third+ inch gap behind my heel on standing with some heel slippage. Yes, I could tighten the heel strap (and would if I kept them) but I'd still have that gap, which I'm certain would become more noticeable as the leather in the front relaxed. Because of the design in the front, the shoe also made my foot look w-i-d-e. Anyway, perhaps one of the reasons the Neima is such a good seller is because it has been fitted to the foot properly in the first place. I MAY try a half-size smaller, but rather than reordering through the mail will attempt to find a local store to check the fit first.
Nice shoes, comfortable.

I bought these for wearing to church and out to dinner. They are nice, right shoe is a little tight, needs to be broke in.
