They are comfortable though they are just on the verge of being too narrow for my average/slightly wide feet. The quick lacing seems to loosen to a certain point no matter where they start, but they don't really go beyond that, so its not that bad.

This shoe is great for a variety of conditions and activities. It is good for walking, hiking, and biking, especially in imperfect conditions. For such a light shoe it is incredibly warm and water resistant. I use this shoe when walking my dogs in all weather (except deep snow) and for biking to work, rain or shine. Love the drawstring lacing which makes for easy on and off. The only negatives are the size. Runs quite large, and I'm sorry I didn't get it a half-size smaller than my usual. Also the drawstring can loosen up and may need periodic tightening. Otherwise a great shoe.

I work in the ice and snow and need a super warm lightweight boot. I spent three hours looking on line at all types of boots, I came across the Solomon tundra mid and found how much they weighed (not much more than running shoes) and know they would be perfect. A few nights later I was standing in ice water up to my shins and my feet were warm and dry. I love these boots and have everyone I work with wearing them also. They won't let you down.

These boots were a happy surprise. They are very comfortable, stylish, And do exactly what they say! Work well with pants, skirts, and anything Else you want to pair them with. Best of all are warm, dry feet. I have Last year's version, which are tan, but plan to buy the black as well. Could Only wish they were about 1-2 inches taller, though I've worn them in heavy Deep snow with no problems. Highly recommended!
