Too long and narrow
Pampa Tactical Review:
They look great, but don't fit my feet.
Love these versatile boots!
Pallabrouse Baggy Review:
I wear these shopping, walking around town, to work, hanging out, camping, you name it. I have a wide foot and these fit right out of the box. I like that you can wear these with the tops snapped down for a short, booty look, or laced up for a full boot look. The fabric and construction is very high quality. Very well put together and stylish too. I ordered these in Tan(more like a khaki light green color). I'm thinking of ordering a second pair, only in black. Great traction sole too!
Canvas Sneaker Boots!
Pallabrouse Baggy Review:
I wear between a size 8 and a 9 and read a few reviews on other sites that said these were a bit large so I ordered a size 8 which I immediately returned and exchanged for a size 9. They are a narrowish long boot, the 8 squeezed my toes together in a most unacceptable way. I don't have what you would call a wide foot, it's a standard foot width. The 9's have perhaps a bit more room than is absolutely necessary. My toes don't go all the way to the end, a good thing as far as I'm concerned, but the fit is still snug enough, and I can wear smartwool socks which I tend to wear year round. I sprained my ankle badly last summer and really need ankle support all the time now. Not that these hug my ankles in a super strong way but it's something. I'm hoping they can be my go to summer shoes, and when its just too hot for a boot, I can turn down the flaps. They are fairly light, and the canvas appears to be really breathable. The soles are sturdy, flexible and very soft to walk on. They have a bit more arch support really than I expected and are comfortable right out of the box. Not sure how they will feel after 8 hours working on a concrete floor, there is room for insoles if I need them, but that's a test that will have to wait. The Dark Olive/Gum color looks more brown in the photo, but they are a standard sort of faded Army green, just what I hoped for. The burnished, vintage look is very nice. I like the extra details of the Pallabrouse over the Pampa. Overall, I'm happy
Palladium Pampa hi cuff
Pampa Hi Cuff Review:
i have been very pleased with my purchases from I refer friends to when they are looking for new shoes or something different they have not come across in other stores. I will be using the Palladium Pampa for more casual use. It looks rugged enough that it can take a beating and i am a very busy person.
Long and Narrow
Pampa Tactical Review:
I am really disappointed with these shoes. I really wanted to keep them because they look great, but they just didn't fit my feet. The first pair were too long in the sole and had way too much slippage in the heal, which experience warned would cause many unnecessary blisters. Besides, that much extra heal space would make running and hiking awkward and difficult. After returning those for a half size smaller, the new pair no longer had the extra space at the heal, but was now too narrow and didn't allow for any movement within the shoe, especially in the toe where it felt like it was crushing them from the sides. If they only came in a in wider sizes (I never need to buy wide shoes. I always buy regular and they fit fine.) I would have bought the half size smaller in a wide size and that might have worked. If you are able to wear narrow shoes comfortably, I would suggest that you get a half size smaller than you normally wear. Again, my only issue with these shoes is the sizing. Otherwise, the sole feels supportive and cushioned enough and they look great in person (even better than online). They are made with good quality materials and seem to be constructed with care. I don't know how durable they are since I had to return both sizes. I am envious of anyone who can wear these comfortably; they look great, but just didn't fit my feet.

About Palladium

Palladium was founded in 1920 as a tire manufacturer for the aviation industry, and soon their tires—manufactured by layering bands of canvas under vulcanized rubber—were being used on the majority of aircraft produced in Europe. When demand for airplane tires plummeted following the second World War, the company opened a plant in Pont De Cheruy, France, and began to produce Palladium boots and shoes that boasted a durability to equal their tires.

The original Pampa boot appeared in 1947 and was adopted by the French Foreign Legion: If Palladium footwear is good enough to survive the harsh desert conditions and rugged mountainous terrain of Northern Africa, it’s ready for any urban expedition.

Palladium shoes and boots are recognized for combining classic, retro high-top and low-top sneaker styling—including rubber sidewalls and protective toe bumpers—with lugged, molded rubber soles that provide exceptional grip: athletic-shoe performance and youthful, edgy fashion in the same package.

Popular Palladium boots for men include the Baggy Canvas and Baggy Leather or Suede ankle boots, offered in a range of colors with foldover cuffs for a cool, fashion-forward vibe. Also available in 100% cotton canvas, leather or suede, the Pampa Hi boot and Pampa Oxford shoe pair performance with retro style.

Palladium women’s shoes and boots take the same fun, active, vintage-inspired styles and add in a few more feminine colors.
