Great boots

These are great boots - very much an all purpose and sensible yet stylish boot.
VERY Comfortable; Well Made
Pampa Hi Canvas Review:
Never heard of this manufacturer prior to purchasing this boot. The tweedy, soft canvas, leaning towards a grayish tweed, should be sprayed with a stain and water repellent prior to wearing. I love the toe guard, the way the boot is wide in the toe box, heel is a bit wider, which I like and you can wear these with or without a sock, a light, medium or thicker sock will do. The top portion of the boot can be cuffed. They have a chunky military flair, which I also like. The sole is thick, yet flexible with a thick tread...I was pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail on this shoe. They look great on with shorts, skinny jeans, khakis, capris, you choose! Very versatile. I have nothing like this boot in my closet. Not for winter wear but a superb light weight boot for late summer, fall, early winter, before it snows, spring! Could use a bit more interior cushioning but, I have a good arch and this is not an issue for me. I wear a 7M, that is what I bought with plenty of toe room! Funky boot, great price, and you probably will not see another wearing this boot....
My favorite them

About Palladium

Palladium was founded in 1920 as a tire manufacturer for the aviation industry, and soon their tires—manufactured by layering bands of canvas under vulcanized rubber—were being used on the majority of aircraft produced in Europe. When demand for airplane tires plummeted following the second World War, the company opened a plant in Pont De Cheruy, France, and began to produce Palladium boots and shoes that boasted a durability to equal their tires.

The original Pampa boot appeared in 1947 and was adopted by the French Foreign Legion: If Palladium footwear is good enough to survive the harsh desert conditions and rugged mountainous terrain of Northern Africa, it’s ready for any urban expedition.

Palladium shoes and boots are recognized for combining classic, retro high-top and low-top sneaker styling—including rubber sidewalls and protective toe bumpers—with lugged, molded rubber soles that provide exceptional grip: athletic-shoe performance and youthful, edgy fashion in the same package.

Popular Palladium boots for men include the Baggy Canvas and Baggy Leather or Suede ankle boots, offered in a range of colors with foldover cuffs for a cool, fashion-forward vibe. Also available in 100% cotton canvas, leather or suede, the Pampa Hi boot and Pampa Oxford shoe pair performance with retro style.

Palladium women’s shoes and boots take the same fun, active, vintage-inspired styles and add in a few more feminine colors.
