2nd pair, very comfortable steel toe
M627v1 Review:
Work 9-11 hours a day, doing a lot of walking around on concrete. Usually have a hard time finding steel toes where my feet isn't hurting by end of day. Really like these and they last. The last type of shoes I had, I was having hard time getting them to last year, was very easy on feet, but lace loops was breaking making me rig it up to keep strings on. But with New Balance they pair I got last year is still in very good shape, really just needed new insole. Just got new pair because work pays for new pair every year.

About New Balance

Originally known as the New Balance Arch Company, New Balance began as a Boston-based company in the early 1900s, manufacturing orthopedic shoes and arch supports.

Thanks to the company's expertise in hand-crafting specialized footwear, runners began turning to New Balance for custom-made shoes in the 1950s and '60s. As the New Balance reputation grew, so did the demand for New Balance cross-training shoes.

Today, New Balance is focused on meeting the needs of the everyday athlete, as well as providing more choices for everyday wear. What's more, New Balance is committed to American workers. Approximately 25% of New Balance shoes sold in North America are produced by a U.S. workforce using U.S. and imported materials.

Casual choices include the New Balance 574 sneaker and the New Balance 577 walking shoe. The popular New Balance 993 shoe has a loyal following.

Fitness-oriented shoes include New Balance walking shoes, such as the New Balance 812 shoe. And the New Balance barefoot-inspired Minimus collection offers the comfort of a running shoe in a minimal, low-to-the-ground package.
