cute and comfy
Erh, can't think of anything clever
This is my third or fourth pair of London Fly shoes. They are trendy and cute and you can walk across a lawn in them. One thing I have noticed with every single pair is that if I wear them for over 6 hours, I start to get an uncomfortable feeling in the ball of my foot. Not the tingling, burning pain one gets from wearing high heels, but rather a blister-type feeling from rubbing. I feel like the foot bed, while providing adequate cushion and support, is made of a material that doesn't allow the footbed to breath. Since I have 4 pairs of London Fly though, I haven't considered it enough of a deterrant.
I do consider them on the narrow-side. I had surgury last year to remove a bunion and before that surgery, London Flys were too narrow on the foot with the bunion. After the surgery, the shoes fit fine.
I think I was mislead by the color. 99% of the time when I order online (which is quite a bit), the color of the product matches the color on my screen. For these shoes, I thought the green was more of a dark teal, which I liked. Instead, they are dark green. This might be perfectly fine for you. I already have a pair of green and red London Fly shoes.
Oh, and they make a noise when you walk. Not sure if the noise is from the foot rubbing inside the shoe or if the rubber shoe is making that noise. It sounds like a very soft fart. Not loud enough to be a concern but don't plan on wearing these if you need stealth.
But I am keeping this pair. I like the laces and they are a casual shoe that is not a sneaker, so yay.
