I read some reviews that commented on feeling the « edges » inside the shoe and also on them not quite having the same feel as the sandals. I know what they mean. I was hoping for the cloud and regular sandal fit, and I did notice when I first put them on I feel like I notice the edges or maybe seams of the soft interior lining. That said, they haven’t bothered me at all and the shoe has been more comfortable than anticipated. The feel of the upper and the footbed lining is great against the skin, and they can be tightened just like the sandals. I’m actually really liking them so far - much better than anticipated when I put them on. They may feel a little long but it’s a nice roomy feel in my case, and doesn’t feel clunky.

I had to return the shoes the moment I received them due to the glue of the sole staining the white fabric of the shoe. Hope it’s not abnormal thing.

Purchased for my sister, who loves them! She likes the great arch support, as well as the fact that the straps don’t touch her feet directly, which is a feeling she dislikes with normal Chaco sandals. She’s also a fan of the colour (rose), because she says it looks like millennial pink, which she likes a lot. I’ve been trying to get the family into chacos for years now, and apparently this is the shoe to do it with!

This is my second pair. Invested in a second pair because of the comfort. It looks good and as with other Chacos I own it offers great arch support & ease of wear throughout the day. Very pleased

Very comfortable, except there is a stitched seam in the back of the "sock" portion of the shoe that rubs and irritates back of foot. The stitching is made of some type of plastic thread, which causes irritation. I covered with medical tape and we will see if that helps or stays put. I love the shoe and want to keep it, but kinda bummed that I had to problem solve to make it wearable. I hope Chaco considers solving this problem

This shoe was too narrow for me and because of the firm support insole which had arch support and a side of the foot firm edge, it was uncomfortable for me. My toes also ended right at the front seam of the soft mesh and the toe cap. So this size 9 was too long and narrow compared to my usual 9.

I have 7 pairs of Chacos. The insole fits my arch perfectly, and the lower heel keeps pressure off the ball of the foot. I have a bunion, and usually buy a wide width in enclosed shoes, but Chaco doesn't make a wide width. This Z-Ronin is the answer. I feared the mesh would be an open weave, but it is not, and just as warm as any enclosed sport shoe. As in the Z-1, the strap does not interfere with my bunion. I am so happy I found these!

I love the orange color; but sadly, that is about all I like. The arch support didn't give me the support I get from the Z cloud. The Z straps didn't give me the snug adjustment I get from the sandal. The loop at the heel to pull the shoe on must be for a two year old because my small fingers could barely get in the loop. The black rubber on the toe makes the shoe very funky looking; but I didn't buy it for a fashion statement. I hope Chaco does a re-attempt at this type of shoe ... better arch support and strap adjustability and back loop size would be a good start!
