I needed some general athletic shoes with good support and these are great so far!

Extremely comfortable with great support

I ordered this cuz I thought they looked a little bit funky and I was wanting a pair of shoes that were different they are definitely different but they're also super cute I was not expecting that. I also wasn't expecting them to fit so big I have ordered from Chaco before and usually the size is right on but these feel like they're half a size to a whole size bigger than what I would normally wear. I wear an 11 in women's.

I’ve been a big fan of Chaco for years and owned a couple different styles of their sandals (still rocking the Z cloud). When I saw these come out a while ago I chuckled how they embraced the “socko” look. I work full time as barista, so as you can imagine being on your feet all day definitely takes a toll. My lower back would kill after a shift and I have a tendency to put my weight more on my heels. I tried nicer support shoes I’d wear while working out and it didn’t cut it. By this point I remembered how having the higher arch support of a Chaco would help my back after a long hike or backpacking. So I decided to buy a pair of these and see how they’d do. I. Am. SOLD. After a solid week of wear 5 days for 8+ hours my back doesn’t feel like a wound up coil. My feet don’t hurt. And they provide extra grip! Which working in a coffee shop is huge because drink spills happen on the reg. Not only that, I love that as any other Chaco they’re easy to clean. I’ve worn them hiking a couple times and as always they’re true to their roots. My coworkers joke about my cool dad shoes, but a couple ended up buying pairs as well! As for size they run a smidge big, but I’ve always felt that about Chacos as it allows for max adjustment. I can wear these with, or without socks comfortably. Though I would recommend the thinner kind. All in all. Super satisfied. Thanks again Chaco!

This Shoe!!! It is a shoe finally built on the chaco footbed and is BEYOND comfortable. It's just like the Z sandle, but with the comfort of a shoe. I ordered two pairs and just wish they had a navy blue color now. WOWZA I seriously couldn't be happier!!

This shoe is great for walking, but I found that it's not good for running. I love the look of them. Unfortunately, my pair are a bit unmatched. I have the blue version with the orange strap. The orange strap on the left shoe goes through the black loop but on the right shoe the orange strap does not go through the loop. It's kind of an eye sore. Luckily for me, I can't see it when I'm wearing them 😊

I wear a size 10.5 usually. As this shoe only comes in whole sizes I went with the 11. It was much too big. I loved the style, the color and the frames but it did not work for me. I have been using the Odyssey in a size 11 and I love it. I took on a trip to Africa and wore them daily.

I have a pair of sandals with the cloud option in the sole that are the only thing in my entire collection of footwear that I can wear right now and not be in pain from plantar fasciitis. I was really hoping this shoe would be similar since I'm tired of running around in sandals and wool sox in winter weather. However, the sole is too hard, and too thin, and if I wear them my feet feel worse at the end of the day than they did at the beginning. If I didn't have this problem I would probably think they were fine, the adjustable fit of the upper is great, and the idea of a woven sock-like upper that would keep rocks and such out of the sandals is exceptionally appealing. You have no idea how sad I am right now about this shoe, I had big hopes for it.

The support in these is amazing! I wish more of the Chaco's closed-toe shoes had this support. The Odysseys I have are flatter than these and not as comfortable-but still okay. The only reason I did not give the Ronin five stars is that the top of the shoe is kind of thin and stretchy. I am afraid after continued wear, the top of the shoe will be too big. I wish the top material were more like the Odyssey's.

I usually wear a 7-1/2 shoe but in Chacos I'm a 7. Also, I have a very narrow foot so I was nervous ordering these. They just arrived and are great! I have plantar fasciitis and my Chacos are the most comfortable shoes for that. The arch is perfect and they adjust just like the sandals. The extra strap is long after tightening, so I just tuck it in the back strap--no problem (see photo). I walked 2 miles in them and they were fine with no sock and very warm. They aren't scratchy at all. Might need socks when it's below zero. They will be perfect for fall through spring here in Illinois. The "sock/mesh" part isn't wrinkled when I tighten either.So glad I got them! Love all my Chacos!
