Good support for sesamoid issues

I have sesamoiditis and usually have to wear supportive sneakers and/or orthotics to get through the day. I'm on my feet a lot at work but I also need to dress nicely. These fit that bill perfectly. They are very light and give really good structure on both sides of the foot. I tend to damage the outside of my foot keeping weight off of the ball when it is painful. These have structure in the outside as well as the arch support. Really feels good, and I can run when I need to. Also, I don't have heel problems, but I can feel the support in the heel keeping my foot in line. If this lasts, I will be buying all of my shoes right here.

I'd been considering a Jersey shoe and liked the look of these. A little pricey but ordered them anyway. When you have terrible feet and painful walking you get a little desperate. So glad I got these. I did order a half size larger so thick winter socks wouldn't be a problem. Worked perfectly. I have narrow feet. The toe box is roomy without being boxy, the Jersey is cozy without being hot, the bungy laces snug up just fine. I was not able to use the insert that came with them because the arch didn't hit my foot in the right place, but using my custom inserts I am able to be on my feet all day. COMFORTABLY!!! Its almost like being able to go barefoot again. These are the first pair of shoes I've been able to say that about in years.

Saw these online during the winter holidays & immediately liked them. After that they popped up everywhere! My other black Merrels were beginning to age so I decided this was the right time & right shoe to buy. So I did & I’m glad I did. Did have a little concern about sizing but they fit perfectly for me. They’re a cool loking shoe for an old lady :) like me!

I was super excited to get these shoes, as they were just what I was looking for. A non-bulky slip on shoe that could be worn just about anywhere with anything. And they are super cute. I have been wearing Merrels for years and was disappointed that my usual size 9 did not fit. There was too much room in the toe box and the heel slipped uncomfortably. Even when I cinched them up as much as possible (thus defeating the purpose of having slip on shoes). So I had to return them. I didn't opt for the 8.5 because I feel they are going to be too small. If I see them in a local store or the outlet I may try them for fit but it wasn't worth it to keep sending shoes back and forth through the mail. So, 2 stars for looks and style and having a lightweight, non-bulky slip on with decent support and traction in your selection, but you lost stars for fit when a routine Merrell wearer shouldn't have to worry about what size to order. Total bummer.

I debated on ordering this shoe online as I'm picky about fit and feel. I'm a retired teacher and have benefited from shoes with arch support that are comfortable. Even though I'm retired, I'm on my feet quite a bit with grandchildren,cooking, and walking outside. When it was discounted a little I ordered it and am so glad I did!
