I am on my second pair of these boots with a third ready to go. I need a wide toe box, these have it. I need a brown leather boot for my job as a Backcountry Ranger, these do it. I treat the leather weekly so they stay pretty water/snow proof. I put huge miles on these boots during the summer, and they are super comfortable even with my daily load and milage. The only thing that goes wrong is rubber toe cover comes unglued ( a day of Goop and that's fixed), and the upper sticking is coming apart after over 500 miles (tread is still good). I will keep wearing them until they fall off my feet!

Second pair of Merrell's that I have purchased. Needed boots in anticipation of tough northeast winter. Wore them with first snow and they are truly comfortable, kept my feet dry and they actually look great. Highly recommend.

I rarely like mid size shoes/boots. These fit well. They are comfortable. They are holding up well to my freight delivery job. I would buy again.

I normally wear a EEE width. These are marked wide (2E) but fit comfortably even with a thick sock. With air around your toes your feet feel warmer.

I walk on concrete all day. This shoe can take it. Providing me with great fit and finish, this shoe is a much better solution for me that other work shoes priced twice as much. Lightweight too!

My second pair of Merrells. I’m nearly 67 years old and have always had problems finding the right shoes. These Moab Adventure midies are superb. No breakin period, very comfortable, great traction while hiking in mountainous terrain and there is plenty of room in the toe box.
Perfect for me. After my first pair of Merrells, I promised myself that I would buy no other brand.
As previously noted in another review, I did find that mine are not waterproof, as advertised, however, I would not trade my Adventurers for any other shoe. I highly recommend these.

My dad needed a comfortable boot for working around the house and in the yard, and for shoveling and cleaning off the cars in the winter months.
These are lightweight, comfortable, and will test the water resistance when the opportunity to do so presents itself.
He is very happy with these, so I rated them with 5 stars.
