    Beautiful shoe but sizing is way off

    Pros: These shoes are absolutely beautiful. The color is more brown to dark burgundy depending on the lighting. The lambskin lining is super soft and the footbed is super comfortable. The shoe is heavy in a good way, built well. The price is great specially on sale, definitely on par with $300 shoes made in USA brands. Cons: I ordered these shoes from another store and ended up returning them because the sizing was way off. I read the reviews which said that the shoes run big. So, I ordered 1/2 size down from my usual gold cup size but they were still too big. This leads me to believe that these shoes fit at least one full size than true to size. They are long and narrow. It almost seems as if they are UK sizing based on the fitting. Once, I saw they were on sale on Sperry, I gave them another try and this time I went down one full size down from my usual gold cup size. Going down one full size was a perfect fit lengthwise, width was slightly narrow in the toe area but not tight, more like snug in a good way.

    The tip is a little longer than I expected. The width is also a bit wider. Otherwise it’s a high quality pair of shoes.

    I got these shoes as a gift for both my father and my husband and they both loved them! The color is absolutely amazing and they are beyond comfortable. They both have very different styles and the shoe is so versatile it was the perfect gift!
