not what i expect for a winter boot. I bought my first winter boot in 20 years. I am very disappointed. My first week of wearing the boot, i notice my socks are wet when i took off the boot. At first i thought maybe my feet are cold. After today, I am very certain that my socks are wet. Not what i expected for a winter boot that cost $220cdn. Usually i don't write bad reviews, but i am very disappointed.

Very nice boot that needs replacement work at top I bought this boot for the Vibram Arctic Grip and I was pleased at the results. You still need to be mindful when around ice, but the grip does perform better than most boots. The boot looks good and feels good. But a two star rating because the fabric at the top of the boot falls apart quite easily. Somewhere between my 10-12 wear of the boots, I put my thumb completely between the material and now there is a thumb sized hole in the top of the boot. I'm not sure exactly how to avoid the tear. It was caused by needing to grip the back of the boot in order to squeeze my foot inside. On cold days with heavy wool socks, you need to grab the back of the boot to get your foot in. There's no strap on the back to grab onto, so you end up grabbing the fabric and apparently that fabric is quite quick to give. I've tried wearing them 4-5 times since and tried to be extremely careful in what I grab to get my foot in the boot, but I'm slowly making the hole bigger. Ignoring that there is a hole in my boot, it's getting big to the point that I don't think I'm going to be able to wear them much longer since the hole will completely tear through and just become a huge rip instead.

NOT winter boots These are the first winter boots I bought after moving to Montreal (I am originally from Argentina). I had not had experience on how to choose winter boots and a seller recommended me this ones. Overall they are a good boot, but when it goes below -15 C your feet get freezing even with thick merino socks. The grip is good and the boots are comfortable and really waterproof but, again, they are not winter boots for me they qualify as a nice rain boot for ~0C. I really do not see the "Fully lined with warm thermal insulation" but only a fine waterproof lining. The boots seem well constructed but they were a bit cracked after the first winter. Also, the top fabric got all stretched and even got a hole in one of the boots. I won't buy this boots again.

Looks good but Won't last I have had my boots for a year now and I only used them in the winter. So when I pulled them out this year I found that the rubber tips are starting to crack. The boots are not very warm so I have to use warm socks but they put the Artic grip on it that's not amazing but is nice and better that shoes. I think a warmer boot with a good rubber bottom would be better. Plus for using them only 4 months out of the year I don't think the rubber tips should be cracking.

Vibram Artic Grip is OK The shoe seems to be okay with slippery ice but they're not very warm. Do not rely on these boots in really cold weather. There's no soft/warm lining inside. They appear to be more suitable as rain boots.
