Comments about Vasque Sundowner Summit GTX:

The fit is snug for a D width. Unable to wear medium/thick socks. I've worn them a couple of times for short hikes <3 miles on rocky trails. My feet were happy to get out of them. Looks like it will be a very long break in period. Unfortunately, just wearing them around in the house did not give me a good feel for them on the trail.
