These boots are made with the option of not wearing socks. I tried them without socks and they were really nice, my feet didn't get too hot. I knew Uggs run slightly big before I ordered these. I normally wear a 7 1/2 to 8 but I got these in 7. I bought two of this style, very comfortable and very cute!

[...] Soon as I receivced them I wored them out in 20 degree weather with no socks (as they suggest wearing) and to my surprise my feet were so warm and toasty, it actually felt as if I had socks on. I cannot begin to tell you how comfy these boots are. I wear size 8 1/2 shoes but since they dont come in half size I went for the 8, perfect fit! If you ever thought of purchasing a pair I say go for it you wont be dissapointed at all. I will be purchasing a new pair soon as these wear out, which seems to me like it will be a long time before I do so.
