I don't know if maybe the wide width shoe is sized differently than the normal width, but I would not suggest ordering a half size smaller in the wide width. I thought the shoe fit fairly true to size and even a bit smaller than usual, at least in width. In fact, I'll probably use a shoe stretcher on mine to slightly loosen the toe area before having to wear them all day.

The shoe itself is quite lovely and the photos do it justice. The open toe gives just a glimpse of the tips of my toes, so if you're looking to show off a pedicure, these aren't going to do it. Though they have a low heel, the shoes' soles need to be scuffed before wearing out as they are very smooth and slippery.

I purchased these for my upcoming wedding and love them! I have had some issues with my feet that required surgery, and these were the only shoes that provided the comfort level I needed. The heel is a good height and they provide a lot of support. The color is great, too!

The only complaint that I have is about sizing. I always buy a size 9 in every shoe I own and these were at least a half size too big, perhaps even a full size! I would recommend buying a smaller size. Also, the bottoms are a little slippery, especially if you're planning to wear them while dancing.
