The only negative is that after awhle the gray rubber that comes up over the toe of the shoe peels partially off and it looks shabby. I havebeen buying this shoe for a few years.

Good for sore soles
Odyssey Review:
I've been having some plantar fasciitis causing the bottoms of my feet to feel sore. These shoes are great - the springs are in the heel and and in the forefoot, so I can walk and jog with abandon. Definitely recommend these comfortable shoes.

I stand all day so I wanted something that had a lot of springiness to help take the pressure off my feet, these do the job. I love that they are lightweight as well. You *have* to order a size up, they run small. I do wish they came in all black, I don't love the neon stripes.

Stingers are absolutely awesome!
Stinger XLT Review:
I wear my Stingers for runnning and training and love them. The tongue tends to roll a bit and I have to fix that but that's not a huge problem. The heal doesn't seem to be high quality but I haven't had a problem with them yet. They are pretty new to me so I really hope they don't fall apart easily. They are very comfortable to run in as I just came off of double knee surgery.

"Most COMFORTABLE shoe ever!"

I am a Respiratory Therapist who works 12 hr shifts. I am on my feet most of the time & do a lot of walking in the hospital. My feet used to ache. I went searching online for a good walking shoe & found these shoes. I read all the great reviews & decided to order. Could not wait to get them! I put them on the first time & could NOT believe how comfortable they are! NO break in required at all!! I absolutely LOVE these shoes. Great for healthcare workers or anyone who is on their feet all day! Want to order another pair but they are currently out of my size , 7 wide,.....please get them back in stock soon!

Spira heel and forefoot spring configurations are engineered for specific activities to meet individual needs. Unlike traditional shoe midsoles made primarily of materials such as foams, rubber compounds or polymers, WaveSpring® technology makes it easier to stand, walk, run and compete stores and disburses energy with every step.

Among the many benefits of the WaveSpring® is its ability to reduce peak impact forces by about 20% over traditional midsole materials. When engaged in high impact activity like running or jumping, where peak impact is four to five times body weight, a reduction of 20% is quite significant. This stress reduction can in turn reduce injury and allow for faster recovery time following vigorous activity.
