Comments about Saucony Progrid Hurricane 10:

Use for casual intermittent running short distances after an MCL tear: good mid-level pronation control for more support. Recommended by my PT and I've kept with Saucony cuz they do the job and are easy to find. Onlineshoes had probably the best discount price I've paid over the last 5 years.

Comments about Saucony Progrid Hurricane 10:

I've owned at least a dozen pairs of Saucony Hurricanes over the years. They were the only running shoe that seemed to work for me. Each generation of Hurricanes has slight "improvements" over the last, but they generally fit my feet the same, way so I could buy them online without trying them on and they always were great. The Progrid Hurricane 10, however, is nothing like I expected. They are very lightweight, but in a stiff, plasticy way. The toe box feels much narrower than previous generations of Hurricanes. The first time I wore them, I got a huge blister on my heel. One of the shoes seems to put a lot of pressure on my big toe, so by the end of a run, my toes are numb. I can't seem to get them laced properly. They are either too loose or too tight over various parts of my foot. I've been running approx 25 miles per week for the past month, and the shoes still don't feel broken in. Perhaps this generation of Hurricanes is just a particularly bad design, but it's certainly not living up to my expectations of a Saucony shoe.

I am a neautral runner and Saucony Progrid Hurricane shoes never fail me. Over the years I have tried many other running shoes and none ever succeed as well as the Saucony. I hope they never quit making them.

This is the best running/walking shoe I've ever worn. I have very low arches, and this shoe provides support without being too restrictive. It's extremely comfortable...like I'm not wearing shoes at all.

I run about 20 to 30 miles a week and these shoes have not let me down. I have run in the heat of a desert and the cool/wet of England and they never let me down. I switched to Saucony about 5 years ago and won't wear any other brand. I am on my second pair and when they wear out, I will try the Hurricane 11.

Comments about Saucony Progrid Hurricane 10:

I mainly run outdoors. Reliable shoe. Sizing of the Hurricane 10 is about 1/2 smaller than the older versions of the Hurricane. Newer versions of Hurricane do feel different than the older and sizing is definitely different.

Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Great for pronators, Lightweight, Stable
Best Uses:

Comments about Saucony Progrid Hurricane 10:

I have two pairs of these, and rotate them out- older pair for dogwalking and dirty outdoor activities. Newer pair for city walking and gym. When the outdoor pair gets flat and loses it's bounce, I toss them and downgrade the gym pair and buy new pair. I'm hard on my shoes and these last for 6 months before breaking down.

Also good for pronators-these keep my feet stable and my knees happy.
