I loved this boot! Only wish it would of fit my calf. I'm 15". It was close but a little too snug. The boot felt comfortable on and I would of loved wearing it .

Reviews are very helpful, I'm glad I read them before ordering the choice boot. When I read a couple of comments on how wide in the calf these boots are, I knew they were just right for me...love the wideness of the calf...finally, a boot that fits! These are as comfortable as the ugg boot, but not the least ugly. My only regret is that they don't come in smooth leather, the suede stains easier. I right away sprayed them with a stain and water repelent. I have a hard time finding a boot that is comfortable and stylish, this boot exceeded my expectations. This will be an ideal boot to wear next month on my travels.

These boots are very comfortable. The only thing I didn't care for is that the calves are rather large on me. I am 5'6'' and 130 lbs wear a size 9 w so maybe I should have bigger calves than I do ?

I love the look of this boot and was so excited to find it in a wide width. However, the shaft was way too big for my calf and as it is cut to fit, did not look good at all. Consequently, I returned these and am still in search of boots.

I bought the smooth leather boot because the Rockport name suggested comfort and quality construction for extended walking. The footbed is well-cushioned, the rounded toe prevents toe squeeze, the heel height is ideal for walking and the boot is not as heavy as it looks. My only complaint is that the zipper bends and presses inward just above my ankle bone. This may be the price to pay for a generously wide shaft but I expect the leather is supple enough that a coat of mink oil and stuffing the shaft with newspaper will correct this problem.

Open the box, feel the leather, notice the craftsmanship and you will surely not believe how lightweight these boots are. They are stylish, in a classy riding boot kind of way but it's the cushy foot bed that seals the deal. I can't wait to tuck in my jeans, don the scarf and jacket and head for 3 days of shopping in Manhattan. No need to break these in - they're ready for action right out of the box. Thank you Rockport.

These boots are great for urban treking through concrete canyons or a weekend strolling through the fall foliange. Not only do they look great but they're so comfortable you'll forget that you're wearing something so sturdy and well-made. For the money you'll spend on these, you'll get years of wear -- and they'll probably only get better with age. The only drawback about them is that they're just not dressy enough for the office or a fancy dinner date.
