This is a beautiful boot and very well made. It is comfortable, but not THE most comfortable boot/shoe I've ever worn because the sole needs to be thicker to provide more cushioning. [My feet have many problems, however, and I need a thick rubber sole to give them the cushioning I need....for the average foot without problems, this shoe should feel wonderful]

I'm required to wear a minimum 2" high heeled boot at work. I'm a server in a high-end restaurant, and I walk about five fast-paced miles per night. After a couple of months at my job, I had bought three different pairs of what I thought would be comfortable boots, but continued to suffer from intense knee pain. I was afraid I'd have to quit my job until I bought the Rieker Sheila.

The leather is soft and high quality, and flexes with every step. The heels and sole are rubber, which absorbs shock and is perfect for slippery floors. The shaft of the boot is comfortable and loose, not tight at the top. The inside is lined with a delightfully soft fabric. And the boot is sexy!

I've had these boots for three weeks, and I love them more everyday. I've really put them to the test and I recommend them highly to folks who want a slight heel, but aren't willing to sacrifice being comfortable. They really have changed my life!

FYI, I wear them with an arch-supporting insert, but they would be fine without for just casual use.
