Propet makes an exceptiional sport shoe: well made, great fit, excellent support without the bulky bulbous look. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I had my foot measured at a shoe store and was told I needed a 6.5 D, and should try Propet. Propet shoes offer a true to size fit which is rare. The shoes do not break down after a few months of pounding the pavement. They look great with casual clothing, dressier than the traditional "ahtletic foot wear". I purchased the white with navy and am going back for the taupe.[...]

Not really for orthotics.

I would have used this product for everyday walking. The shoe is light-weight, the color is quite nice and it would seem to be easy to keep clean. However, the shoe is shorter than a normal size and though it claims to accept your orthotic, it does not. The orthotic was curled up inside and my heel was raised too high so that it slipped out of the shoe. There seemed to be little side support, also. It was disappointing and I would not recommend the Tidewater Walker to anyone needing supportive shoes.

I was disappointed with this sneaker because it does not have the support & cushion that the other walking shoe I have been buying for years, same name brand just a different style, but I thought I would try it since it was on sale. I will go back to the other walking shoe.

I am loving this shoe. I stand on concrete floors for 8 hours a day and these shoes are comfortable enough to do that. I would recommend these highly.
