I just received these in plum and black and they are so comfortable right out of the box - a never for me! I have wide feet with myriad foot problems and rarely can I wear a pair of shoes and not feel some initial discomfort. I decided to search online shoes for shoes under the "comfort" heading and was surprised to find so many hip looking shoes! No longer am I a slave to department stores and their poorly fitting shoes!

I really like this shoe. It's as comfortable as a standard ballet flat, but it's way more stylish. The straps are well placed. They offer a secure fit and don't rub at all. These are great overall shoes for casual and travel.

Got these in the mail this weekend and wore them foir the first time running errands on Sarurday---it's about 35 here and snow on the ground, but plowed off streets and sidewalks. The boots were comfortable and fit well with 2 pairs of regular weight socks (a necessity up here in the cold, so that's good). Thos in CA wearing thin socks, might want to order a half size down. Decent traction on the soles-a little slick on ice, but what normal boot isn't? The shaft is a little tight toward the top/knee area, but I think that's good since it makes the boot slouchy at the ankle, which it seems like it should be as the leather is very soft in the shaft. My only caveat is that the toe is more almond shaped than I expected-I tend to prefer more of a squared off toe. These aren't pointy, fancy boots--they really are a true almond toe, which is still comfy. They just look a little more like cowboy boots. I got the black and the color is nice-black, but not shiny and I expect it will fade nicely over the years, but you could easily have them polished if you don't like that.

Love the look and feel of these boots. I have a narrow foot and they are not too wide. Although, I did have to put a heel pad in them. I have narrow calves and they fit me great! Not too big and not too tight. I don't buy boots very often because most are made for larger calves. Skinny jeans fit well into them. Happy with my purchase!
