These are obviously budget shoes. The brown pair was half a size smaller than the black pair, although the width was good. The insoles are thin and hard, but the overall build quality is acceptable. They don't seem like they'll fall apart in 2 months, however they are no more than heavy duty athletic shoes. They aren't for real hiking. I returned both pair because by the time I bought decent insoles to make them comfortable, I could have paid for a better pair of hikers.
