Good performance walking shoes

I first bought this shoe 6 years ago for work and recently bought another pair as the first pair was wearing out. I am on my feet all day at work and this shoe is comfortable and wears very well. It looks great with slacks so it's a win-win.

I have neuropathy in my feet and legs and really need a shoe that fits well, is wide enough and cushions my sole. This shoe absolutely does all that.

I AM A MAIL CARRIER AND AT FIRST I COULD NOT FIND A SHOE THAT WOULD NOT GIVE ME BLISTERS, OR THAT WOULD STAND UP TO ALL OF THE WALKING THAT I DO. I WENT ONLINE TO ONLINESHOES.COM AND FOUND THE 926 NEW BALANCE SO I DECIDED THAT I WOULD LIKE TO TRY THEM OUT. [...] I ORDERED THEM AND WILL STICK WITH THEM FOR AS LONG AS THEY MAKE THEM. THE THING I LIKE THE BEST IS I CAN TAKE THEM OUT OF THE BOX AND PUT THEM ON AND GO OUT ON MY MAIL ROUTE AND NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE TIME TO BREAK THEM IN. THEY ARE COMFORTABLE FROM THE GET GO. I had a pair that I reserved for travel and the elliptical trainer. When I had the opportunity to take a couple of long hikes, I wanted to wear these shoes, so I ordered another pair to keep for use in clean places. I have wide feet and a high arch and instep and have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. For the hike, I added an extra gel insole. I am 61 and was not sure how my body would handle an 8 mile hike. I had no problems with feet, knees or hips.

The delivery was incredibly fast. I ordered Saturday and got the shoes on Tuesday, in fine condition and correct model and size.

I am soon to have knee replacement and expect a lot of support from a shoe. I have worn New Balance walking shoes for years and have adjusted size and width as my foot changes and model numbers change. Many retailers do not routinely carry narrow. I think I will go with mail order from now on, but if I want a different model, I will have to try it in a store first.

I have large,wide feet w/high arches, and am heavy, so I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes that wear well. These are the best I have found in ages, so comfortable that I do not have to use any orthotics in them, even though there would be plenty of room. They keep my feet in proper alignment and stop inward pronation, which takes the stress and pain away from my ankles and knees. I wear them to work on a concrete floor everyday, and have been wearing them constantly when I'm not working because they make me feel so much better. I REALLY wish they came in a bone or taupe color to give me so much more wearability, fashionwise. Great shoe, terrific price[...]. Very satisfied for first purchase.
