I actually use this shoe with my leg brace. Because of that, I don't own a closet full of shoes. This looks good with slacks or jeans and the white sole allows me to work out in them. I have probably owned 15 pairs of these over the last 20 years. They hold up great and you can even throw them in the wash..they clean up great and look like new.

I am going to re-order the same pair!! These felt great the minute my feet went in to them. From the ankle down, I look like Fred Flinstone. My feet are picky, and I need shoes that fit - I have wide feet with high arches and foot issues - chronic tendonitis and Morton's neuroma. New Balance seems to know my feet to get it so right! I recommend New Balance, especially this walking shoe.

Got orthotics? This is the only shoe I can find to wear with my orthotics. The linings are easily removable so orthotics can be inserted. The shoes are deep enough so your feet will NOT feel squished and too tight. Extra wide sizes just add to the overall comfort.

This is the first pair of shoes that has really helped keep my weak ankle stable! I have a weak ankle that tends to roll outward if I'm not careful and this shoe is very supportive, but not stiff. I feel a lot more secure with each step when wearing this shoe. Wearing these shoes combined with ankle strengthening exercises gives me better stability in walking and it appears that my ankle doesn't "give out" as much. I just love these shoes! Finally, shoes that actually address problem feet! Thank you, New Balance!
