Comments about New Balance WR1123MC:

I have severe over prontation, with 2E Width. I've been to Road Runner Sports and they typically don't recommend New Balance. I've been running all my life and know that New Balance works for me.

This shoe is stable for over prontators, but not good for high mileage runners. I average 50 miles a week - about 7 miles a day. It's a heavy shoe and not recommended for long distance. In addition, it's extremely wide at D width -- which is the width I need. But, it was so wide that I got B width -- which turned out to be too small.

Overall, it's a supportive show for low mileage runners (under 4 miles) and over pronators.

Comments about New Balance WR1123MC:

This is my third pair of these particular New Balance shoes and I highly recommend them for someone with ankle joint injuries. I first used them with a metal brace insert, then with a lace-up orthotic support, and, now, as I continue to recover from ankle surgery, without any support devices. The support and stability are fabulous

Comments about New Balance WR1123MC:

I was forced to buy this shoe when I developed a strange foot problem. The support this shoe offers has solved my foot probems. I can wear these all day and my feet don't ever casue me problems. I do have to add a foot insert (powerstep) for added support, but other then that, I love them. Knowing this shoe has taken the guess work out of what to buy next.

Comments about New Balance WR1123MC:

I have had plantar fasciitias for over a year and a half and had all treatments available including surgery. I used to run 6 miles a day. I haven't ran for over a year and I email online shoes and the new balance website and told them about my foot. They both recommended this shoe. The better price was online shoes so I bought them and could not be happier. My foot feels 100% better. I am just starting to run again but taking it slower and my foot feels great. I would highly recommend these shoes and I will definitely be buying another pair! Thanks

Comments about New Balance WR1123MC:

I keep rebuying this shoe when I wear it out. I haven't been able to find another shoe that works as well for me as this one. I wish New Balance would come out with more than one color choice for this style of shoe!
