Comments about Merrell Waterpro Maipo:

At my job I grind glass in water so I my shoes get very wet. Then I help in the glass shop, so I am bouncing back and forth between both jobs all day. I love how light my shoes are even when they get wet and and I LOVE how they dry so quickly when I run to help in glass shop. My feet don't get cold or pruned and I don't have to worry about stinky damp feet. I also have to stand on hard concrete all day and thanks to my Merrell's my feet don't hurt at the end of the day.

Comments about Merrell Waterpro Maipo:

Comfortable, airy; great for stinky feet! Not as much tight, snug foot bed support typical of Merrills. Wide toe box (as comfy as New Balance), Maipo was the only shoe I could wear after a recent injury. Big improvement over a pair of Solomon's (itchy, too many 'custom' straps, all tread) water tennies. Love that trim 'biking shoe' look, don't need combat boots. I'm no runner, so don't need heavy-duty shocks either. Tread allows for biking, climbing (traction) and doubles as nurse's duty wear (VERY washable). Downside: shoelaces (tie a surgeon's knot: extra twist before the bow) and don't expect that classic Merrill 'feel' being primarily a light water shoe. MBT trainer's are great for nurse's duty but they don't like washing. Add orthotics (custom insoles fit easily) and Maipo works well as a duty shoe.

Service & Delivery comments:

I only use you guys!!!!!! Another online shoe store added 'bonus' season tickets for a theme park 6 hours away from my home, for an eternal monthly fee. It was a nightmare tracking down the credit card charges to the source. Always read your credit card statements!
You are prompt in delivery- usually within five days but I live on the eastern seaboard, a huge market area.
I can't do local stores unless I accept 'whatever-you-got-in-11'. I broke my foot years ago and ever since have only worn GREAT shoes. Your prices are reasonable too.
PS. When you spend the money, guess what? GREAT shoes don't wear out! My Naot's are 13 years old, virtually indestructable and still have unbelievable support. Get some same-size buds together and have a shoe swap. Try out some Mephistos before you invest a house payment in a pair, let someone else enjoy your Danskos after you fall out of love with them.

Comments about Merrell Waterpro Maipo:

I have been running five miles a clip for over 30 years so I have purchased over 60 pair of running shoes over the years. I run on the side of the road in a rural area so I am off and on the road. These shoes are great!. They are especially easy to put on and take off and are easily adjusted for tightness. They are more streamline looking than regular running shoes and they are very sturdy. I usually wear a 9 1/2 but the 8 1/2 fit me. I would defiitely buy them again.

Comments about Merrell Waterpro Maipo:

Merrell's fit my foot just right. They have an arch. [...] I had to exchange for another size. I also typed the expiration date wrong on my credit card and they made a call to correct that information.
