I bought these literally days before a trip to London in February. I wore these boots everyday in the snow and rain, walking for miles and miles through the streets of London. They were perfect from the minute I stuck my feet into them. Fit like gloves. Warm, comfortable, waterproof. And Stylish! The black boots go with everything. I even wore them out to a pub dinner party one night with my jeans, as the black fur top gives them a sassy alpine village touch. They never gave me blisters, I was NEVER cold! Perfect sizing, great cushion and support. Predictable Merrell top-notch quality. When I got back to Los Angeles I didn't want to take them off. Now I wear them to the ice rink when the kids play hockey and in the downpours of southern California. These boots saved me in the freezing temps, and varied terrain of the underground stations to the mucky paths along the Thames. Awesome! I would HIGHLY recommend these shoes. The best purchase I've made all year.

I wear these shoes for walking in the snow. They are waterproof and after I come in the house the water drops from the snow fall right off! They are comfortable and warm, just a little tight in the beginning for my pinky toe. It is getting better already though. I would definitely recommend these boots!

I needed a new pair of winter boots that were warm (MN is COLD) but not overly bulky. These boots are great - they kept my feet warm in the below zero weather. They are comfortable also. The only negative is that they felt small in the height of the toe area when I had the size that is usually a bit large for me. I ordered another size larger and the boots are a bit big, but the toes feel comfortable.

These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've had in like forever... I am glad I got them a 1/2 size bigger. Otherwise they would have been too tight. I did see that someone also said this, so I did order them a 1/2 bigger. I love these and would definitely buy them again.

These boots don't let ANY moisture in at all, and are very comfortable. The were the third type I tried, and I'm very pleased with them. They just made it through their first big storm, and did great. I'm only now starting to feel them rub on one spot, but that's after wearing them just about non-stop for six days. I went a half size larger than my normal shoe size and that seems to be just about right. I would highly recommend them.

I normally love Merrells but this style turned out to not be one of my favorites. Too troublesome to lace up and tie. Felt a bit heavy and stiff. I returned and found a boot I could slip on easily.

Love these very stylish, perfect fitting boots. Have been looking for a good bott for all snow activities - going to and from skiing, snow tubing, walking around in the snow, city or country and sledding. Got a little cold sledding which is the worst case application as I was mostly standing watching my son and husband after I got a little more air than I wanted on my run...

these are perfect for tromping about in cold weather. typical merrell quality. i ordered a 1/2 size up so that i could were thick socks.

Can't wait to try these ones for snowshoeing! If comfort and warmth are a concern, you will be pleased with the Thermo Arc 6. These boots are lightweight and provide great arch support. Broke them in on a hike and they expanded well in the wet-cold weather. Although they are a low profile boot, there is plenty of ankle support.
