comfortable, but wool pills

The wool is not a good fabric on the outside. It pills up and was falling off after the first wear. They are VERY comfortable though. I would recommend ordering the same style made of a different material. There are several options.

The inner part of the tops of the shoes, especially the sides, are made of some kind of hard, sitff material...plastic? They are a little hard to get on.and feel stiff. The nice looking cushy material on the inside is so thin it can't counteract the stiffness. They do not flex much when I move my foot. The blue is very colorful and the sole is durable.

When I first got these, I had a little trouble getting my foot into them because my instep is high but I've figured out the method that works and I couldn't be happier with these shoes. They are super comfy and warm and work just as well outdoors as indoors. Yesterday I wore them out in a couple inches of snow and my feet stayed dry and toasty. I highly recommend them!

It is a very comfortable and warm shoe , however, after one week of use they looked very old. Then within 4 weeks the wool was coming off the surface of the shoe. This was with just general use, no heavy duty wear.
