I've been a Keen purchaser for years, so I was excited to finally wear out an old pair of boots so I could buy a new pair this year. I wanted to love these so much & did right out of the box. The color is a bit darker than pictured. They are so flexible for casual or work, and I love that they're waterproof and oh so comfortable. The toe cap is smaller than the Briggs II which I love. The width did seem a little small, even for Keens, but I have a wide foot. The main problem I had with these is that the tounge is so far forward it allows your foot to slip forward which makes the shoe feel big and also causes your toe to move forward and hit the front of the boot. I haven't decided if I need a bigger size (all of my Keens are 7.5) or if its the shoe. I have a feeling a bigger size would be too big. Not sure if I'll end up keeping these, exchanging for a bigger size or returning.

Bottom line:
YES, I would recommend this to a friend

I have several pairs of Keen Shoes/Boot/Sandals so I didn't hesitate to buy a pair online. Although I do like the odd look of these boots they have NO padding in them and they need to be broken in. They fit really sloppy. I've had to wear them with heavy socks and laced up tightly ... they are getting better but I will probably not buy another pair online.

Hi I work doing manual labor and I wear leather boots as they are mandatory. These boots are so uncomfortable, they feel like there is no cushioning and stiff. I checked the cushioning after wearing them for two days and there was a indentation where the ball of my foot went ( no wonder it felt like I was working barefooted all day). I bought some pads for the ball of my foot for these boots and it's like trying to fill up that indentation. I do not like them at all, went back to my older boots. For the money they should feel comfortable.
