Comments about Keen Charleston Boot:

These boots keep by feet warm and dry! The only thing that I don't really like is that I have a hard time getting my pant legs inside the boots- there is not a lot of extra room.

Comments about Keen Charleston Boot:

These boots are really comfortable. They are not as thick-soled or wide as other Keen shoes. The narrowness hurt my right foot a bit since I have an issue with that foot. But, all in all a great, cute, stylish boot. I wore them with tights and a skirt and they looked great.

I love these boots; convenient to slip on when I'm making a quick trip to the grocery store. They are warm and stable in snow. I've never had a better pair of winter boots!

Comments about Keen Charleston Boot:

This boot by Keen has a few interesting features to give it a nudge in the direction of being more environmentally friendly than other boots, such as the footbed made partially from recycled materials. Despite the special 'kush' feature and the metanatomical footbed, I felt these boots could be a bit more comfy. I was hoping for something more a kin to my gym shoes. Still, they do provide good support and the arch support is nice.

I did find these boots to be a bit slippery the first time I wore them, but after that they have been fine. I have walked across ice and snow repeatedly and not had any issues.

I did order a half size larger than I normally wear and I am glad I did. I would recommend others do this as well. I would have liked the width of the toe area to be a bit wider to accommodate heavier winter socks. There is extra room in the ankles it seems so that is nice for moving around. The fleece lining is thin, but soft and warm enough for wearing all day inside and for extended periods outside. These would not be boots to wear if you were hiking or playing around in snow all day.

Comments about Keen Charleston Boot:

I wanted a lightweight and warm boot- I received these yesterday and love them. I have a wide foot and these feel great on my foot. I love that I can trek outside and around the office comfortably- which is a must for working on campus. I think they run at least a half size too small. I had to send back my first pair for a half size larger. If you're going to wear thick socks, consider a full size larger.

Comments about Keen Charleston Boot:

I tried these boots on and they were very snug. I'd say order a half size up to be safe! Also, I noticed that the soles were very slippery and not grippy like I was expecting. Since it's a winter boot, it surprised me that the soles wouldn't be made for walking on ice and snow.
