No breaking in period! Keen is the height of comfort and durability. They run a half size small, so I did have to try on a pair before ordering online. I couldn't ask for more from a pair of boots. I've walked several miles in the first month I've owned them.

9.5 on a scale of 10! The ONLY thing I don't like is the shearling lining makes the shaft of the boot thick and jeans don't lay well on the outside of the boot. However, I like the boots so much that I just pull the hem of my jeans down when I stand up and forget it. I find Keen runs 1/2 size small. I normally wear an 8 but always 8.5 in Keen.

This boot is extremely comfortable and fits true to size. The boot is stylish and I get several comments every time I wear it. On cold days, I wear the boot all day and it keeps my feet and body warm. I love the boot. On the downside, the stitching that is on the front of the boot is coming loose at the end. I will need to take this to a shoe repair to have it fixed before it unravels all the way up. I would recommend this boot, but make sure when you get it the stitching is tight and will not come loose.

The boots were just as explained however they were just too much boot for east Tennessee. Too warm and "thick". Also I wear a size 10 and I felt like it looked huge on my feet. But would have been the perfect boot in colder weather.

I wear a 6 1/2 size shoe and my calf is barely 14" at the largest spot and I could barely zip these up, I tried tucking in my jeans and there was no way at all...so sad, these are super adorable and very comfy! Wish my calves were a tad narrower and I would wear these constantly. I am having to return them due to the tight shaft.

Love the distressed look of the leather. nice details in the seaming in the back heel. Just LOVE they way they felt when i put them on. feels like a total cushion on my feet. wore them around the house when i got home instead of taking them off as i normally would do. Casual yet high end style and quality.

These boots are super cute with jeans tucked in. If you are not that kind of girl they look a little fred munster or Frankenstein chunky with jeans worn over them. When I've worn them in public the comments are typically the same, everyone loves the upper part but don't like the heal. I'm a bit bummed but I am keeping them because they are comfortable; so i only wear them with jeans tucked in. They are cute with skirts or dresses that stop a few inches before the top of the boot... much longer and you lose the feel of the boot (the top of the boot makes the boot's style). I have Fibromyalgia and I need comfort over style, but when I can find both it's wonderful. I had already returned boots trying to find a great pair for this price range. Wish they were cuter in the heal/foot area. Also, the calf area is tight. I have average calfs but when I first wore them I had to contort my legs to squeeze in; however, they are getting easier to zip up. Over all Keen makes good boots, and these provide good comfort i need, but they fail the style versatility I was hoping for. If I could return them after wearing them I would keep looking for *the* black boot that is comfortable & stylish completely and i'm certain i'd find them here on onlineshoes.com.

Service & Delivery comments:

If you have never shopped from onlineshoes.com you should consider. I'm huge into customer service and every time I have called in for a question the staff is very friendly. Also, the deliver is very timely and usually arrive before the said date. The exchange policy is great. There may be other online shoe stores with similar features but I'm not interested. I am loyal to onlineshoes. Just too great of an online store to go anywhere else. Also, if something you want is unavailable they email you when it is available. I appreciate this feature a lot. Any way, this has been my experience with onlineshoes.com
