I just received my "J. Renee Stampede - Women's - Shoes - Multi by J. Renee" in size 9.5. I'm usually a 9 or 9.5. These were too small :( the toe box in width "M" is a little too narrow, and the little lip at the back of the shoe would surely cause irritation if I did any walking. They fit like uncomfortable dress up shoes at this size. So I'm online trying to decide whether to return them and order size 10M. Here's what else: the heel is slippery. Now some of you are probably used to slippery shoes, but I'm a hiking boot, vibram sole kind of person, I'd have to either scuff these up a lot, or have soles added. Also, I don't think your feet breathe in these shoes. Might be fine the first few times you wear them, but I'm not sure about the "synthetic upper," whatever that means. The foot bed itself is very comfortable. And I love the way they look, peeping out from jeans. So I'll finish up this review and do some thinking. At this price, I think I expected more. The embroidery is fabulous and unique. Exactly like the photos. So there's that.

These shoes are beautiful and very stylish. I bought them for my 2 daughters weddings which were a week apart. I got so many compliments in them. I was in them for over 4 hours and my feet never hurt. The heel was a little higher than what I usually wear but I never felt like I was in stilts.

Purchased this shoe in both pewter and gold. The pewter was so comfortable and pretty that I bought the second pair in gold. Used the pewter with a purple dress for a company Christmas party. It is beautifully simple and comfortable as well as I stood for at least one hour while wearing them. Have a AAA (triple A heel) and a slingback is a must! These are perfect.
