These are a very nice purple color (burgandy) and have nice cushion. I wear a narrow and they were a little on the wide side in the heel and run about a 1/4 of a size long.

I was skeptical about the heel height for winter wear, but these shoes have performed beyond expectations! Not only do they look gorgeous and are comfortable, I am able to walk with confidence because of the soles' grip/traction. I am very pleased with this pair of shoes.

For the last five years, I've been fooling myself that I can wear heels. I buy them, I try to wear them, and have to remove them before the end of the day and switch to flats. But then this shoe (and the others on the same footbed like the Illusion boot) came along--I can last all day and then some. It has great stability and a sole that grips like a tire tread. The leather is beautiful with just the right amount of shine.

These shoes are beautifully crafted and yet very comfortable. I walk for my two 15 min breaks at work, and I have yet to get any blisters.

This is my 2nd pair of this style; I also have the mary jane's, and love them.
