This is the most comfortable shoe for my problem feet that I have ever worn. First time wearing them felt like the 50th. There is no need for break-in. The arch support is incredible. I could walk forever in them. My only advice is that you buy a 1/2 size smaller than you usually wear.

I ordered a double wide in these shoes, and the strap closest to the ankle is still too short. Plus, my feet are not that wide. I had already exchanged these shoes for a larger size, so I decided not to return these. Instead, I will have to glue extra velcro on the strap in order to not have to strap it so tight.

These shoes felt great. HOWEVER, the straps were too small. In addition, more velcro would have helped. I loved the feel of the shoe but could not keep them because the straps kept coming apart. If Drew increased the strap lenth, I would be first in line to buy these shoes!

It's encouraging to see more stylish shoe designs that accommodate full foot orthotics. These shoes have had daily wear for over a year and still look very nice.

I ordered Millie II in bone & brown. Only problem--my plastic orthotic is white; when the beige liner is removed from the left shoe (to accommodate the orthotic) the black footbed of the sandal does not match the light colored footbed in the right shoe. To remedy that, I place the black insert from the brown Millie in the beige sandal. It would be simpler to have made all the removable liners black for every color of Millie II. I also had the velcro tabs trimmed off abt. 1/2" because I didn't like the ends of the straps curling up.

My regular size is 8 narrow, but in this shoe I wear a 7.5 medium. I can wear the shoe for hours of walking and standing and still be comfortable. The added plus is that it looks very nice. I love this Barefoot Freedom brand made by Drew Shoes. I have another pair, more dressy, which is equally comfortable.

While the shoe is not trendy, sylish as is my usual motivation. Life is not always about "lookin' good girl" but now that I am 60 and live every day with my bull terrier...life is also about comfortable, practical and above all keep my feet cool in the Missouri summers and if the bully jumps on these shoe covered feet having some protection... These shoes are great for all of the above...

I have a swollen foot, and couldn't extend velcro straps to accomodate. The straps are very short, and you can only tighten them, not loosen. I returned the sandals immediately.
Also, the "removable" foot bed looks strange if you take it out.
