The removable insole cradles and cushions your foot with cork, memory foam, and a soft, sueded cover; replace it with a prescription orthotic for customized comfort. I bought these to wear to teach prek, I need comfort, flexibilty- due to bending and sitting on the floor, an informal style that's fairly versitile, and low heal for running around after little ones.These shoes were more expensive than I can usually afford, but I thought if they fit the bill they'd be worth it. When I got them I really liked the way they looked, but they just didn't feel all that comfortable, mostly because the sole is clunky and doesn't flex well. I squat and sit on the floor or low chairs all day long and need a shoe with support that is also very flexible. I did need to return them.This was only the 2nd. time I have ordered shoes online, due to concerns about sizing and shipping. [...]

I needed more support than the Delites I have been wearing. This is it! I walk all day on my job in a school and this provides arch support, stability, style, and comfort. The strap is leather instead of grosgrain ribbon. It is a little bit heavier than the Delite but not overwhelmingly so. An excellent Drew shoe, attractive and with the added depth.

The shoe was a little tight across the top of the foot and a little deep in the heel. I added a gel pad beneath my heel, and it fixed both problems. Also, it hurt a little under the metal ring the strap threads through (on the instep side). A corn pad stuck beneath the ring fixed that. So, now I absolutely love these shoes. They were worth making the adjustments. They are now the most comfortable shoes I own, they look great, and they go with a lot more things than tennis shoes do!
