4 stars for effort and the loveliness of the shoes. These are beautiful and very good quality. Although it's a pretty high heel for me (I'm a flats girl) I didn't think they were painful at all. The shoes squeaked loudly on my floor, which I would have dismissed it if not for the fact that they ran a good half to full size too large. I normally wear a US 8 and bought the UK 6, but alas, I had almost a half inch of room at the back even with socks on. I would totally have traded them for the size 5 but they're not available, so I'm back to hunting for the perfect oxfords.

I am on my feet a lot and these shoes provide stability and comfort. I am also able to use these shoes from going to work and then to school without having to carry an extra pair of shoes, even in rain. At first the leather may be a bit stiff, but it is worth breaking them in and it only takes about on wearing for that to happen. I love my dr Martens and have them in all colors.
