These shoes are even more awesome in person than the pics on ur website! I have to break them in, but plan to unveil them at my asian themed wedding next month! I can hardly wait!!! My feet will be comfortable, supported & LOOK AMAZING!!! ( I can send a photo after the wedding if ya want!)

This is my third pair of Doc Martens, and they look great! These ones really bridge the wardrobe gap that my first pair (1914 black) and second (oxblood baby!) couldn't span. They did seem to take a little bit longer to break in than my first pair. However, as anyone who is as habitually obsessed with great boots as I am, and who also has wide feet, knows, there is certainly a breaking in period for Docs, and it isn't always pretty. Don't give up though. Wearing two pairs of good woolen socks with them at first will help a lot. I know they can seem unyielding, but if you wear them everywhere for two days you'll end up wanting to live in them. That is the only negative comment that I can come up with. Wearing Doc Martens is a commitment. You have to take the extra minute to put them on everyday, but they become part of you. Breaking them in is a piece of that experience, it makes them your Docs, both literally speaking, and in a metaphysical sense (I know they're just shoes, stop calling me crazy). Once they conform to your feet they're better than being barefoot. There's not a thing that makes me happier, shoe-wise anyways, than those Bouncing Soles. Passionate about my footwear? I believe so.

I wanted to get them for a long time. Then I finally did and they are beautiful! But... they are so hard and so uncomfortable. The heel part was very stiff and kind of big and kept rubbing up against my foot. These are my 3rd pair of Doc's and I've never been disappointed until I got these.
