Product Details

Take the stress out of active work environments in the Dansko Professional clog. High toe box provides ample room for freedom of movement. Anatomical insole cradles the foot in a supportive position. The Dansko Professional clog offers rocker bottom design for a natural stride during active days spent on your feet. Fit tip: This clog should fit snugly at the instep, with room for toes to wiggle freely, and loosely in the back so that the heel moves up and down as you walk (a pinkie finger might fit between your heel and the shoe).

Everyday Comfort

I have this shoe in a few colors because it is so comfortable. It actually looks good with jeans as a casual shoe. They're so easy to slip on but have the comfort of a running shoe! GREAT shoe!

A Shoe for EVERYONE!

I wear this shoe pretty much everyday. Although, I wouldn't recommend this shoe for someone with plantar fasciitis, because there isn't any heel or ankle support, it is perfect for almost any occupation. Anyone on their feet all day, will appreciate the rocker sole that balances the weight of the body evenly over the foot. This evening of weight distribution allows for the body to align itself correctly often improving minor aches in the hips and back. Ladies with babies on the way, will appreciate the support and the roominess, too. Occupations that involve spilling a lot of liquids (baristas and nurses you know who you are) might notice less stinky shoes because there isn't nylon stitching around the sole for stuff to mold in.

I'd buy 100 pairs of these if I could

I disagree with the reviewer who advises against wearing these if you have plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist recommended these for me because of plantar fasciitis and since wearing them, about 6 months now, I have not had any pain whatsoever, in either foot. I find them extremely comfortable. I wear them with skirts, dresses and pants. They actually energize my feet. I say they are great looking "orthopaedic" shoes. I wish I could afford a pair in every color!

Difficult to fit

I bought these shoes for long shifts in the ER. Sneakers do the job, but wanted something more porfessional and something I can clean fluids off of. The shoes are great for that purpose and they are durable and have amazing shock absorbing ability that doesn't seem to deteriorate over time (like a sneaker does). The only problem is sizing. I wear a 9.5 US. I tried the 42, 42 wide, 43, and finally settled on the 43 wide. The reqular width is too tight over my instep and hurts. I settled on the 43 wide becaues it didn't hurt, but it's too loose. I would recommend ordering many sizes to find one that works.

Can be on your feet for hours!

These shoes are great. I am on my feet most of the day, have a history of back surgery and I've been wearing this style for 4+ years. I recently had kids and my foot size changed. I knew that I previously wore a solid size 10 US before kids which turned out to be a 41, despite what the sizing chart said. I ended up having to order a 2nd pair of size 42 this time to get the right size as the 1st pair I got didn't fit (couldn't even get my foot in the opening). Irregularities due to being hand-made?
