I have a larger calf (18") and was happy to find a nice looking leather boot that was comfortable and fit my calf. Love, love love the goring in the back. They look so sophisticated and have had many compliments. Way to go Clarks!

The most comfortable boots with a heel I've found. On a 5 day vacation in Chicago they are great on long excursions on city streets. They have room for my orthotics. Easy on and off. I get nice compliments on the style. They are shorter than many, but so am I, and they don't look short on me. The calf is roomy, but they look good and stay up fine. But my cousin tried them on and the calf was way too small for her larger calf.

I never buy boots because my calves are huge. These fit. They look nice. A little trouble getting them over some jeans so another 1/2 inch or 1 inch would be so, so awesome. However, if you're determined, they do stretch quite a bit and you can get them over your jeans if you really want to. Super comfy and they look really great (I know I already said that)!

These boots are SO comfortable, and were the first time I wore them. I was searching for a wide calf leather boot and these are perfect. My only complaint is the heel on one boot squeaks when I walk. I just need to check with Clarks on a solution.
