I was looking for a pair of ankle boots for everyday wear this winter. It isn't too cold where I live, but my feet get cold and I thought I needed some Mississippi winter shoes. I spend lots of time in a dusty environment standing on cement floors so they had to be good quality shoes. These boots are less clunky than they look in the picture. They fit like a slipper, are light weight and very comfortable. My feet are a bit warmer and feel protected from the elements. I don't even feel like taking them off when I get home. I did get a small blister on one foot at the ankle of one foot the first few times I walked very far, but that was it. They aren't particularly stylish and I wouldn't wear them with dressier pants or for going out. I don't know how they hold up in the snow or very cold weather, but I am very happy with them and wear them all the time.

This shoe was comfortable from the first time they were on my feet, and nothing has changed since the numerous times I've worn them. I especially appreciate the great arch support. They're similar to wearing walking shoes, but the leather upper provides needed warmth during cold spells.
