You will be able to wear this shoe with jeans, shorts or skirts this summer season! The width was a little tight until I removed the shoe insert. I replaced it with a slimmer comfort liner. These shoes are similar to a slipper so I really couldn't go up 1/2 a size (I am a true size 8). They would have definitely slipped off my feet. They fit like a glove now with the new insert.
