This hard-working boot features a leather and nylon upper with a breathable mesh lining; laces and a size zip entry with a Velcro® strap provide a snug fit and easy on/off. The Bates Individual Comfort System midsole offers an adjustable comfort disk that lets you set the amount of soft or firm cushioning that works best for you. The slip- and oil-resistant rubber outsole offers dependable traction.

Per others on the site I ordered a half size down and they fit perfect. I love the support and traction that they provide when I'm pulling out the aircraft - a slip could be disastrous. I've worn them for up to 18 hours and they remain comfortable and I've even recv'd a few compliments on their looks as well. Construction is sturdy and I'm sure that I will wear these for many, many years.

This boot is very comfortable. I really like the side zipper, it helps getting them on and off. They do feel a little larger and wider than my size, but still comfortable and wear well.

On my 2nd pair now, so I can rotate them.
The first pair had a squeak the 2nd week which went away.
They are comfortable right out of the box for a full day's wear on cement floors in any weather. Fortunately, girls wearing tactical boots in shorts is somewhat trendy in my community, so I don't feel totally weird wearing these everywhere I go.
And they keep my post-surgery foot and ankle VERY HAPPY!

THESE WERE GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX AND JUST GET BETTER. I USED TO DO A LOT OF PROFESSIONAL DANCING AND THESE FEEL LIKE SOME OF THE JAZZ SHOES (LIKE SLIPPERS), VERY VERY NICE IN A TACTICAL BOOT. I DID ORDER THEM A HALF SIZE SMALL AND THEY FIT JUST RIGHT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
