I am a Baggalini fan, having turned many friends onto the brand. First. Baggalini. FAIL.
Ok, so I missed the part in the description where it says it will accommodate a micro laptop. It is a normal sized backpack, not a micro backpack, so I didn't even think to check. Well, when I got my fantastic Baggalini Backpack in my favorite embossed cheetah black (let it be known I am NOT an animal print person, but this fabric is my favorite because it is understated texture to my signature black ensembles, and frankly, you would have to look close and be nudged with hints to see the 'cheetah' in it.) Anyway, I slid my 15 inch Macbook Pro into the built in laptop sleeve with TONS OF ROOM TO SPARE. It was just when I tried to secure it in place with the velcro strap that I found said velcro strap was just an inch too short.
Since it is Baggalini, and in my favorite print, I considered just getting out my sewing supplies and lengthening the strap. If I were a very careful and controlled person, I might just use it without the secure strap but that isn't me and that is WHY I like Baggalin: everything is secured and zipped. I can confidently beat an assailant with my bag because I know things won't fly out, no one will consider me an easy pick pocket target, and when I am dancing in streets at a festival, my credit cards and keys won't fly into the crowd. I trust my bags. Because they are Baggalini.
But, wow, Baggalini. Just ONE MORE INCH and I would have been able to trash my 10 year old Sherpani backpack for one of yours. (Sherpani must not be using the same designer. Or the designer gave up and instead of producing great looking and functional bags they now just make accessories for teenage girls to model. Buy their bags to complete a look...um, the look of helplessly digging through a mess for things that actually fell out when you were on the bus.)
Anyway, I "could" fix the strap. I "could" explain to my boss I need a brand new, smaller laptop. But I am sadly returning instead.
By the way, great bag if your laptop is smaller than 15 inches.
