I began using this shoe as my primary fencing shoe, drawn by the colors (same as my school colors) and the fact that it was environmentally-friendly. I got tons of compliments on these shoes, which was pretty cool. One con was that at first it is pretty stiff, but after a bit of use, it has become more comfortable. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
