I have a pair of the 2140's for almost 3 years now. I ended up using them for my first half marathon in April (yes the 3 yr old pair) and had absolutely no issues at all. not a blister. i ended up buying a pair of 2150's for the KBVCM on May 30th but after a training run the 2150's made my forefoot a little tender. so I pulled out my 2140's and flew in my first marathon! after 26.2 miles my feet felt great! Can't rave more about these!

I am a short distance runner. I run 5 Ks, although I am strating to train for slightly longer races. I run 3 times a week 3-5 miles at a time. I also try to get a workout in each week that involves sprints and agility drills, I also use a variety of cardio equipment at the local gym. I really love these shoes for all of these purposes. They are light and feel as if they provide a lot of support. I was having a problem with pronation and these shoes seem to make me more aware of when its happening. I also ran in New balance motion controlled shoes but they seemed to wear out rather quickly, losing cushion and support quickly.

Maybe these will wear out just as quickly but I think I would buy another pair of these Asics before going back to the new balances I had. The only reason I said they seemed to narrow, is that I ordered a 'wide' shoe and it was still a bit snug when I put them on the first time. They are now a great fit, two weeks into owning them.

I've been running in Asics for years but I'm recently thinking about switching. I don't know if something has changed in the shoe or with me but I've had a couple problems lately. I run about 30 miles a week, in addition to my other workouts. I live in the city so it's mostly bike paths & sidewalks.
